Ashley Korin McLean

Ashley Korin McLean is an author, model, motivational speaker and entrepreneur, who is dedicated to helping others in their personal development, especially young adults. She is also the founder of the Korin Black Project, a charitable foundation that aims to inspire, support and empower young girls and women to become poised and confident leaders in their personal lives and careers.


A graduate of Bradley University, Ashley Korin earned a Bachelor’s degree in advertising and multimedia. When not spending time with her family, she enjoys traveling, speaking to teens and young adults in the areas of self-improvement and working in the fashion industry. She is a proud Chicago native.

Jesse Glover

Jesse Raymond Glover (October 15, 1935 – June 27, 2012) was Bruce Lee's first student and first assistant instructor in the United States. He met Lee in 1959, as they both attended Edison Technical College and practiced judo. Glover was a psychology major and a champion judoka. The character Jerome Sprout in the 1993 film Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story was based on Glover.


Jesse started a Gungfu class of his own with Leroy Garcia and James DeMile assisting him, it became the first ever independent Jun Fan arts related class. Jesse Glover was the first authorized martial arts instructor to be trained by Bruce Lee. He has developed his own method which he calls Non-Classical GungFu.


Glover lived in Seattle, Washington, and worked as an author and private martial arts instructor.


He died of cancer in June 2012.
